Using Trezor.io/start guarantees that you are installing verified software directly from Trezor — protecting your funds from fake websites, phishing attacks, and unauthorized applications.
Open your web browser and manually type Trezor.io/start. Never click on links from emails or advertisements to avoid scams.
Click Download Trezor Suite from the official page. This is the only authentic desktop application for managing your Trezor Wallet. It’s available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, allowing you to send, receive, and manage cryptocurrency securely.
Plug in your Trezor Hardware Wallet using the USB cable provided. Once connected, launch Trezor Suite, which will automatically detect your device and guide you through the setup process.
You’ll be asked to either:
Create a new wallet if you’re a first-time user.
Recover wallet from seed if you already own a Trezor and have a recovery phrase.
Your Trezor device will display a 12-, 18-, or 24-word recovery seed. Write down the words in order exactly as shown. ⚠️ Never save them online, take screenshots, or share them with anyone. Your recovery seed is the only way to recover your Trezor Wallet if your device is lost or damaged.
Choose a secure PIN directly on your Trezor device. This ensures no one can access your wallet without authorization.
Once setup is complete, you can open Trezor Suite to manage your Trezor Wallet. Easily send, receive, and monitor your cryptocurrencies in real time.
